The Next 7T5 Club Re-Union

The committee has started making tentative enquiries with regard to holding another Re-Union in October 2008.

The Proposed venue is in the area of the RAF Museum at COSFORD, near Wolverhampton, as this is a more central location.

Those servicemen who retired in the Pension Code Years of 1976 and 1977 suffered a severe reduction in their pension compared to those who retired in earlier and later years. The Ministry of Defence has rebuffed approaches to redress this injustice but recently agreed, after pressure from the Forces Pension Society, to assess the potential cost.
The Pension Trough Group has been formed and currently totals some 200 members of all ranks as well as widows. The aim of the group is to bring further pressure to bear on the government for a just and equitable settlement.
